Hey fellow foodies!!!! Today we are going to share the recipe of Moong dal Kachori...Kachori's are famous North Indian Snack & Moong Dal Kachori is one of its variant.... You can easily prepare it at your home for breakfast or as a tea time snack....Hope you all like it....

  1. Soak moong dal on water for 2-3 hours.
  2. Take half portion of soaked moong dal and coarsely grind it.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and splutter Cumin seeds & Fennel seeds, then add sesame seeds, Poppy Seeds, Asafoetida and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Now add Green Chili Paste & Ginger Garlic Paste and cook for 3-4 minutes . Then add Gram flour and stir fry until golden brown.
  5. Now add soaked moong dal & moong dal paste along with Turmeric and mix well.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes then add Salt, Sugar, Dry Mango Powder and Coriander Powder, Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Take the cooked stuffing in a plate and let it cool.
  8. Take All purpose flour in a bowl add oil, baking soda & salt and sieve well.
  9. Knead well with water and make dough.Keep the dough covered for 30 minutes.
  10. Take small ball of dough on the board and roll it into a small circle.
  11. Put the small portion of stuffing on it and close it properly giving the shape of Kachori.
  12. Put the oil on heat in a Wok for deep frying.
  13. Place the Kachori's in the oil and deep fry until golden brown.
  14. Serve hot Kachori's with Tamarind chutney or Sauce.
