    Hey Fellow food lovers , Hope you are doing good. Monday always calls for a fresh start so lets do it with something healthy and wholesome. This Dal Fry (Toor- Masoor -Kaddu) is a perfect way to get you back on healthy track . It’s thick consistency and spicy flavor makes it a perfect partner with Rice or Paratha. So lets’ get started ….

    Step 1
    Mark as Complete

    Cook The Daal

    Start with Adding Toor dal, Massor Dal , Pumpkin pieces , Turmeric, Salt and Water into a pressure cooker . Then put on the lid and let it cook till 2-3 Whistles . Switch off the gas stove and let the pressure cool down naturally.

    Mark as Complete

    For Tampering - Heat the Desi Ghee

    For Spicy Tampering heat the Desi Ghee into a pan then add Cumin seeds into it and let it crackle.

    Add the Chopped Onions and Green chilly

    Time to add the Chopped Onions and Green chilly into the pan and cook till it gets golden brown in color.

    Add Crushed Ginger-Garlic and Spices

    Time to add Crushed Ginger-Garlic along with Red Chilly powder, Coriander powder and Garam Masala into the pan and mix well.

    Step 5
    Mark as Complete

    Add chopped Tomatoes

    Cook it for 3-4 minutes then add chopped Tomatoes into it. Let the Tomatoes dissolve properly .

    Mark as Complete

    Mix Tampering to the Dal

    Add the cooked Daal into the Spicy mix and let everything blend evenly.

    1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
    2 (Chopped) Onions
    1 Tablespoon Crushed ginger garlic
    1 (Chopped) Green Chili
    2 (Chopped ) Tomato
    2 Teaspoon Red chilly powder
    1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder
    1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
    To Taste Salt
