Instructions
  1. Dry Roast all the spices(Dry Red Chilies, Fennel Seeds, Mustard Dal, Cumin Seeds,Fenugreek Seeds, Nigella or Onion Seeds)in a pan.
  2. Place all the spices in mixer jar and grind to make coarse powder.
  3. Transfer the powder into a bowl, add lemon juice & mix well.
  4. Wash and Pat dry Cauliflower Florets.
  5. Heat oil in pan and shallow fry cauliflower florets until they are 3/4 cooked.
  6. Once cooked take them out in a plate and keep aside.
  7. Heat the same pan with the remaining oil in it and splutter Mustard seeds.
  8. Now crackle Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds & Nigella or Onion Seeds.
  9. Add chopped Onion and saute until translucent.
  10. Add Green Chili Ginger Garlic Paste and saute till raw aroma of Ginger Garlic turns out.
  11. Now add Tomato Puree, Pickling Powder mixed with lemon Juice, Red Chili Powder &Turmeric.
  12. Mix all the ingredients and saute till the mixture starts releasing oil.
  13. Then add the partially cooked cauliflower florets and mix well.
  14. Finally add yougurt,1/2 cup water mix well and cook on low flame till the gravy is dry and starts releasing oil.
  15. Once gravy turns dry turn off the flame and sprinkle coriander leaves.
  16. Achari Gobhi is ready to serve.
